The process
How a session works

Preparation
Shave the zone 12–24 hours before the session — the laser needs the hair inside the skin, not above it. For four weeks beforehand avoid wax, epilators and sugar paste (they remove the hair together with the root the laser aims at). Come without creams or deodorant.

The session
A session in the intimate area takes about 15–30 minutes depending on its extent. We work in a private room and the built-in cooling softens the sensation. Most clients describe a short warm snap rather than pain.

After the treatment
The skin may stay slightly red for a few hours. For the first 24–48 hours skip the sauna, the pool, hot baths and intense sport. Protect the zone from the sun and solarium for two weeks and use a gentle fragrance-free moisturiser.

Usually 5–8 sessions spaced 4–8 weeks apart. Hair grows in cycles and the laser only reaches the hairs currently in the growth phase — that is why the sessions repeat.
Yes, shave the zone 12–24 hours in advance. The hair has to stay inside the skin but must not stick out above it, otherwise the energy is spent above the surface.
We do not treat the intimate area during menstruation for hygiene reasons. Just call us and we will move your appointment.
